Dr Scott Markham is the reason that we help with the Caborca Medical Mission every year the week befor Thanksgiving.  He and his team of Opthamologists and staff have been goin there for over 10 years to complete up to 100+ cataract surguries in conjuction with the Caborcan Lions Club. We partnered with them about 10 years ago and added vision exams and bring 2,000 to 10,000 glasses with us.  we do a rudementary Spot exam that can get a general prescription within seconds and we can provide glasses that can make the difference of not being able to see to close to 20/20 vision.  We have also added Diabetic Retinal Surgury, Dermatology, feedings, youth projects and other projects to change the lives of 100's of individuals.   

We are extremely grateful and blessed to have this wonderful partnership and friendship with Dr. Markham and his team because the work we do there have changed our lives to a point that helps us appreciate everything in a different light.

Jon Jenkins and his wonderful with Elizabeth Jenkins along with their son Jak has been helping the community for years.  They run a non profit charity Jak Cares to help those in need in Vietnam as well as other parts of the country

Jon is also one of the those very down-to-earth friends that is the kindest gentleman I have the pleasure to call my dear friend and the mind to turn bingo parlours into Talking Stick Resort and Casino Arizona.  As GM of both casinos he did exactly that and tries to be retired but his experience in the industry sometimes takes him throughout the country to help other casinos get their start.  We are so blessed to call him a friend and to have him in our family on Phoenix Asian American Lions family.

Roger Morales is the husband of Dr. Loan Dao and in the Judicial field.  I don't wnt to say more because even though he has a wonderful heart and lives for his kids, he is bigger than me and has the power to make me dissappear, LOL.  

Roger is another member in our club that shows that we can have professionals for all walks of life if there is one thing in common,  That common goal is having the heart to helping our community be a better place and doing our little part to help make that happen.
